There was a time when I’d be up before dawn and off like a shot to a hang by fingernails from a cliff, or to race the dog on the beach, or anywhere else to get as far away from the familiar Monday-to-Friday environment as possible, physically and spiritually. Life’s changed now, and I’ve changed, and we have different kinds of adventures…

Two weeks ago we thought it’d be a good idea to take our perfectly good child and rub him up and down against another child with chickenpox, and this just happened. Meh! George wasn’t best pleased over the last couple of days, but he’s on the mend now, and that should be him sorted for life. Firm but fair.
