Goodbye Canon, hello Fuji…

storytime-1

So!! As much as I loved the image quality that the Canon 5D3 and 50L produced, I have to confess I became a bit fed up with the size and weight of the camera. There’s no getting around the fact that it’s a giant big lump of a thing, and I found myself preferring to not have the burden when I went out with the family.  After it had been sitting under the bed for a bit too long, I decided I needed a fresh start, and to resuscitate my mojo. I took a deep breath, and traded in the 5D3, the 50L and the 135L – all the beloved equipment that’s taken so many photographs that are important to me – for a brand new Fuji X-Pro2 with 35/2, 23/1.4 and 56/1.2. An amazing, small kit that punches well above its weight, in my opinion. It’s all still a bit too new, but so far so good…
